Thank you for your kind words. I actually did write an espionage novel some years ago. I gave it to a retired CIA vet I'd met in the course of life. I wanted him to proof read it and offer a comment in a foreword. The facts mixed with my fiction were so realistic that he never returned it to me. From this experience, I decided it best to stay away from topics of a politico-military nature.

Some years ago, I ran across a Bulgarian national that had entered the country prior to 1989. At that time, no one from the old USSR or its satellites could travel abroad without KGB permission, or to act on the KGB's behalf. I informed the CI people at the Hoover Bldg and Langley about him. INS quietly deported him. Others knew about him that were 82nd Abn vets, but they accepted the Bulgarians presence without question.

I've had some associations with some interesting people in life although I do not have a military background or intel background. I just think people had some respect for my intellect, which is appreciated.
