Really frighteningReader comment on item: Syria's Looming Water Calamity Submitted by Liz (United States), Jun 1, 2014 at 22:46 1. rebels have shut down the city's potable water supply, forcing Aleppan residents in government-controlled areas to depend on wells and trucks for limited, contaminated, and expensive water. 2. In the last few weeks, the Turkish government completely stopped Euphrates waters from leaving Turkey and flowing into Syria. 3. Within days, some 7 million Syrians could be left without water as well as electricity. Syrians are torturing, murdering and mutilating each other, while Turkey contemplates genocide of Syrians by dehydration. How does anyone stop all this without dropping a nuke on Syria? Is this what Iran is trying to provoke? Either an excuse for it to "test" its nuclear power or a volatile scenario to draw the West into hitting the button first? The West really has itself to blame for allowing this radical seed of Islam to grow, thinking it was just Israel's problem all these years.
