WWIII is not likely to start for many yearsReader comment on item: Why Does Hamas Want War? Submitted by Michael S (United States), Jul 14, 2014 at 04:26 Israel's "mowing the grass" in Gaza, every couple of years, when Gaza's inventory of illegal rockets gets too long, will not precipitate WWIII. Neither will attacks on Israel by actors such as Turkey and Iran. WWIII, which develops into a nuclear exchange, will come about with an attack on Israel by all the nations of the world -- probably led, as these things always have been since 1945, by the US. Even Mr. Obama is not mad enough to start such a thing; but his successor or the one after that might. Zech. 14 speaks of an attack on Israel by all the nations of the world, culminating in a nuclear "plague" in which people's eyes rot in their sockets while they're still standing. A cataclysmic war tomorrow or the next day is easy to prepare for: Just go up a mountain to fast and pray until you get "raptured" or otherwise taken care of. Living a Godly life for an extended, indefinite period is more difficult. That's probably why "The End Is Near!" prophecies are so popular.
