Hamas's Genocide Against Israelis

Crimes Against Humanity, and War Crimes, are discussed often in the context of the current battle between Israel and Hamas - with Israel as the perpetrator.

However, the International Crime of Genocide is either absurdly invoked by Turkey's PM Erdogan against Israel: "Erdoğan says Israel is committing 'genocide' in Gaza" http://www.todayszaman.com/son-dakika_erdogan-says-israel-is-committing-genocide-in-gaza_353973.html

or it is obscurely, and sensationally, and recklessly, invoked:

In fact, the Crime of Genocide, against which Israel is defending itself ii, and has been continuously committed by Hamas, and lesser Palestinian Agencies, against Israelis and Jews, for quite some time. To appreciate this state of affairs it is necessary to read carefully the full text of the International Law which the UN adopted almost immediately after WWII, thanks to the work of the Jewish scholar, Raphael Lemkin (emphasis added):

General Assembly Resolution 260A (III) Article 2

In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

(a) Killing members of the group;

(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;

(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;

(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;

(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group

Accordingly, there can be no doubt that Hamas is actively committing Genocide against Israelis, with its inaccurate missiles and ineffective tunnels.

What isn't available, however, is a view as to the proper defense against Genocide. And that is because - except in the case of Israel - Genocide has been practiced against weak and defenseless peoples. However, only Hamas, some Palestinians, and Islamists, have the Chutzpah, or Arrogance to perpetuate Genocide against Israelis. The fact that the Genocidal destruction of the Israeli nation is a miserable failure in numbers, does not deminish the crime of Genocide perpetuated by Hamas, and its co-conspirators, such as Islamic Jihad, and Iran.

What Yochanan Gordon so recklessly intimates in his blog is that in defending Israelis against Genocide, non-belligerant children, women, and civilians may become victims in Gaza under Hamas and the Genocidal tactics of its military wing, and other similarly armed factions.
