Different Branches, Same TreeReader comment on item: The Muslim Brotherhood's Place in Islamist Politics Submitted by Dave (Canada), Aug 24, 2014 at 18:05 Sure, the MB is only one of several sister organizations, but they are all branches of the same tree. I'm sure that there are differences in their interpretation of Islamic doctrine, but the root sources are the same - the Koran, aHadith and Sira. The MB is probably the most well known in the West, which is probably why many people assume that it's a blanket organization. Let's be thankful for the differences as they can result in internecine conflicts distracting from fighting us infidels.
