Time for talking has goneReader comment on item: ISIS and the world's reaction to the Islamic caliphate Submitted by Peter, Scotland, UK. (United Kingdom), Sep 6, 2014 at 10:23 I think it's a disgrace of that lack of real response from the world on this. Who are we afraid of upsetting? Saudi, Quatar?? We are losing the war already due to our inaction both on the ground and in the media. I think the following would be a good start: Make watching death videos illegal like child porn Complete media black out like uk media done with the ira, photo with women, camp or cartoon voiceover. Don't call them IS and rename something which is nothing to with Islam. Give them a name that ridicules them and gives them no credibility. People can only leave country if they are willing to prove where they are especially Middle East ie training camps, Iraq, Syria Death sentence as it treason for very serious offences. Different jails where they are locked up 23 hours a day and only given basic food (with bacon)and water and just enough to keep them alive. De-religionise them as they are not religious, no prayers, no Koran. Families must be punished if they hold back information and questioned on family who have disappeared Rename them in media as Islamist terrorist state Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
