Love Sweden, but Sweden doesn't love me

I agree with everything said here, I've myself been living for the past 10 years abroad and although I miss my country I'll never move back (I have children and refuse to put them through the same bull I went through growing up in Stockholm during the 80s). I once even had a teacher give me a lower grade in French only because "I already speak Spanish, so it's not really fair to give me the highest grade since I'm already fluent in another Latin based language) :( The job market if a freaking nightmare unless you're named Svensson, for years I applied to work in a well established insurance firm and was constantly rejected... until a Swedish friend of mine started working there and recommended me: all the sudden the job was mine (hooray!)... Until I started working there and discovered everyone else in the department was Swedish (of course) and had only studied the basics (and there I was with my university degree, having to put up with colleagues making remarks whenever I didn't eat the same thing as them: ... it it against your religion? No, I'm just a vegetarian.. Come here and help me with the lady calling, her Swedish is terrible, I can't understand a thing she says! ... why did you tell her I spoke her language? Well, you speak foreign! ... I do speak other languages, but "foreign" isn't one of them (and so on). Swedish people make me sad: I consider Sweden my country but natives always want to know where I'm from and why I'm not considering moving back there... So I guess I have no country :'( Sweden makes me sad really, because I consider it my country (all childhood memories I have are connected to Sweden
