why are the christian missionaries converting poor hindus?

the same pattern has been followed last 500 yrs. Hindus have now realized the hidden agendas.. convert another hindu brother and make him an enemy to his own brothers.. What good have the missionaries done in this world apart from increasing their market share...and an enemy to the nation to fulfill western agenda.
