Michelle Dunne is she a drama queen?Reader comment on item: Think Tanks for Sale or Rent Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Dec 14, 2014 at 10:41 Dr. Pipes I'm sure that you must be aware that Michelle Dunne who is described by no other than David Kirkpatrick (more about him later) of the NYT as a "prominent scholar" of Egypt what ever that is! Mash'allah Well Ms Dunne was denied entry into Egypt because she is "critical of el-Sisi" and she does not seem to see what was wrong with the MB after all Morsi was democratically elected! Mash'allah again and here is David Fitzpatrick's article in the NYT http://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/14/world/middleeast/egypt-denies-entry-to-american-scholar-critical-of-its-government.html Egyptians are asking legitimate questions: Well they know that she works as a "scholar" at the Carnegie Endowment for Inrenational Peace so who is paying the bill for her work? The Qatari Amir many be? Oh drama queen? Ms Dunne is taking every advantage of her being denied admission into Egypt as a badge of honor when in actual fact not many Americans or Egyptians know who she really is or care about what she says. Ms Dunne lives in what I call the "twitter bubble" and no more Oh David Kirkpatrick? He is the most hated foreign reporter in Egypt and he is the one who keeps writing that the MB had nothing to do with terrorism in Egypt which makes you wonder if so then who really torched, looted, and destroyed the Coptic churches and monasteries in Egypt this past year? and who really attacked the Coptic Cathedral in the spring of 2013? Hint: All these crimes have the finger prints of the members of the MB http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/08/22/the-muslim-brotherhood-s-war-on-coptic-christians.html Mr Kirkpatrick also tells his readers that the MB is a democratic party that has nothing to do with terrorism! Again Mash'allah http://www.camera.org/index.asp?x_context=2&x_outlet=35&x_article=2544 Now back to Ms Dunne: I think that Egyptians made a mistake in not allowing her to be admitted into Egypt after all I doubt very much that very many Egyptians or Americans read what Ms Dunne write and now it is news and she loves it Oh drama queen? I urge readers to check her twitter feed and it is full of "oh poor me Michelle Dunne" and I would say to Ms Dunne instead of her drama it would help if she provides her readers of full disclosure about the source of funding for her work Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
