My little bungalowReader comment on item: Pro-Israel Palestinians Submitted by Leonard (United States), May 11, 2005 at 23:54 PRO-ISRAEL PALESTINIANSIt is interesting to note that there are pro-Israel Palestinians. This says a lot for both sides- Israelis and Palestinians. Let's suppose I own a house in suburbia. Somehow a person who does not own the land or the house takes over and I must leave. I try to get my rightful property back but nothing works. One day when I leave the little bungalow where I now live I drive by the nice house and property where I used to live and notice the mom and dad who now lives in my house are playing with their children in the garden. They all smile and are polite; they are kind to all who pass by. Does this mean they now own the property? Living well, being kind, admiring democracy, and smiling at your neighbors are all things that might be said of the new folk who live in my house. It has nothing to do with who owns the house. Please give me back my house and my land. Thank you. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
