History repeating itself once againReader comment on item: Pro-Israel Palestinians Submitted by gary (United States), May 12, 2005 at 13:56 When the state of Israel was born in 1948, the palestinian sheep listened to their so-called leaders when they said they would "drive the Jews into the sea". Well, they didn't drive the Jews into the sea and the sheep lost their homes.Before the first idiotfada, the palestinians enjoyed a better standard of living then any arabs living in any arab country. Once again they listened to their so-called leaders and to this day have not recovered from the economic disaster they brought upon themselves. And now, as your article so aptly points out, instead of confronting their so-called leaders, the sheep will comment quietly and walk in lockstep towards nowhere. As someone who opposes the creation of the future terrorist palestinian state, I am heartened by the fact that history is once again repeating itself. Gary Submitting....
