IrrelevantReader comment on item: Might the Saudis Blow Up Their Oil Infrastructure? Submitted by Paul Z (United States), May 13, 2005 at 10:58 The problem is certainly not Saudis or their control over oil supply ,doomsday or not.American dependency on foreign oil is of our own making. We lost our entire baby-boomers generation to any reason or sanity when it comes to alternatives means of power. When my kid comes from school and tells me that "nuclear power is bad, nuclear power plants shall be all shot down" - it make me think - is it just a (teachers') stupidity or worse? If Saudis are stupid - they booby-trap their oil fields. If they are smart - they support brain-washing of American public. I bet they are not dumb.
