Debanjan should be careful about what he wishes for

Dear Dr Pipes,

Our dear Debanjan Mukherjee said that the war between Shias and Sunnis is good for Muslims because it will prepare them for their eventual war against Christians. This kind of corrupt logic can be ignored but Debanjan should be careful what he wishes for. Has be seen some of the recent pictures from Damascus?

Has he heard about people being beheaded? Did he hear about fathers video taping murders by their ten year old sons. Did Mr Mukherjee read about ten year old boys operating anti aircraft missiles in Yemen? A war with rhyme and reason may be good but wars in that part of the world, unfortunately, subscribe to no logic. Mr Mukherjee should be careful about what he wishes for.
