Easy words to sayReader comment on item: Debating the Iran Deal Submitted by Michael S (United States), Apr 14, 2015 at 16:44 A correction on my own posting: "In this, perhaps the Ayatollahs and I are in agreement." I don't actually know what the Ayatollahs think about the end times. I am concerned with what they have said, calling the US and Israel "Satans" and egging on people everywhere to destroy both of us. Whatever the fine points of Khammeini's ideology might be, he is spewing out visceral hatred of Israel and multiple calls for the extermination of the Jews there; and this cannot be rewarded by allowing him to have nuclear weapons at his disposal. Ms. Lipsticksky made light of Israel's concern about possible nuclear annihilation, and tried to somehow paint the Israelis and Daniel as "warmongers" for suggesting that a preventive nuclear strike against Iran was the only practical way of preventing this. Those are easy words to say, for someone living in the relative safety of Moscow, Washington or Stockholm, who does not have a horde of multiple millions of religious zealots continually whipped up into a frenzy to destroy them.
