Oops again. I said

"preventive nuclear strike against Iran"

I meant to say

"preventive strike against Iran" (to keep it from obtaining nuclear weapons}

Iran's nuclear weapons production chain simply has to be broken -- this doesn't require a nuclear device to be used against it.
