They take in poor helpless refugees not for the sake of refugees, but rather for their own moral feeling of being superior. Swedes (particulalry the working class background ones, the higher social class are better) will treat you nice as long as you are lower than them. So having a foreigner with a job would make them equal to the swedes, which swedes themselves can't tolerant. Working class background Swedes are the shallowest people I have ever encountered. They have such urgency to show infront of others they are morally superior. But when the enviornment is safe, they would show all their ugliness. Swedes on the other hand have hard time to accept anyone who is higher than themselves, like the Chinese or Russians, they felt these people are capable and more intelligent, therefore they would try everything to avoid these people. Swedes suffer a strong infeior complexity problem clinically, they are so eager to show they are warm hearted and kind people. Some of them would actually help refugees just to show off, but in the same time won't even care about their own families.
