Thank you, Daniel Pipes. And for the benefit of your readers, I'd like to post here the two (2) regarding the relevant scholarship material available on the Middle East Forum:

The fact is that Britain's Balfour Declaration was issued in 1917, thereby supporting the Zionist project of Hertzl, that there should be a national homeland for Jews, particularly in "Palestine" which was adopted about 3 or 4 years or so later, by the League of Nations (the predesessor of the UN).

The infamous meeting between Hitler and the Mufti of Jerusalem took place on November 28, 1941:

And the Wannsee Conference, establishing the "Final Solution" met on January 20, 1942:

In a "conspiracy," all parties are equally guilty. It is undenial that the Mufti wanted no Jews coming to Palestine; I do not take Netanyahu's claim that the Mufti told Hitler to "burn" the Jews literally. It is sufficient to recognize that the Mufti did NOT want Jews to "go home" to Palestine. And in that sense at least he too was responsible for the Holocaust.

The "ganging up" on Netanyahu - by the press - that it was Hitler, rather than the Mufti, who was responsible for the Holocaust - is silly, to say the least. When two comit murder, who pulled the trigger isn't relevant - in an American court of law - in the crime of murder.
