With Islam being the fastest growing religion in the world, then the worshippers need to be catered for. Muslims pray behind an Imam in congregation 5 times a day to worship Allah SWT (God). Yes we can pray without being in a certain building, but we all need places of worship. It is fastest growing because so many Non Muslims are reverting to Islam, So many people are coming to Islam. With the research it has been proven religion has played a major part as what was written in the Holy Quran over 1400 years ago are being discovered now. There are currently 1,800 legal mosques in Britain,and an estimated 200 illegal ones. Currently there are several thousand churches in the UK,though by 2040,its estimated there will be more mosques than churches. In big cities like Birmingham and Bradford,it will be much sinner than that,probably within 10 years. Mosque are a problem now cos off the media, no one had a problem before the 9-11.
