Double Standard ?

So basically Mr Pipes's argument is that since modern day Palestinians are a mixed people, it is then nonsense about connections to the Jebusites.

The only problem with that argument is that modern day Jewish Israelis themselves are as mixed of a people with many Jewish populations, notably the Beta Israel, with little to no actual blood connection to the Ancient Hebrews and their identity as Israelis is as modern an invention as is the Palestinian identity.
