Preferred Trump Admin. ChoicesReader comment on item: America's Know-Nothing Diplomacy [article] Submitted by Rich Mc (United States), Nov 10, 2016 at 13:52 Excellent points. That is why, as a Conservative, I am hopeful that President Elect Trump will appoint Ambassador John Bolton SOS, rather than the highly anticipated Newt Gingrich. Bolton would hit the deck running, i.e., would not have Gingrich's steep learning curve to be optimally effective. However, I also understand that political payback exerts strong influence on such decisions. I'd like to think there is room for you in an international advisory capacity within the Trump Administration. Your mid-east expertise is certainly present in abundance. (You might have to mollify your views of Trump as a complete idiot to warrant consideration :) Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. I will modify my views on Trump if he earns it. I am opened minded. More to follow on this topic. Reader comments (26) on this item
