Submitted by Dave, Feb 8, 2017 at 18:46 Perhaps there was not enough time in this interview, but when discussing Putin, I wish Dr. Pipes had brought up Russia's strategic alliance with Iran. Also, in a recent phone call Trump had with Putin, the latter differed with Trump in not seeing Iran as a sponsor of terrorism. I find Trump's indulgent attitude towards Putin troubling, as I do Putin's attitude towards Iran.
