Not quite fair!

Your statement, "The anti-Islamic Right dismisses. Ironically, it endorses the Islamist claim that Islamists alone are true Muslims while waving away the modernizers as outliers, fabulists, and frauds." may be accurate because the story Christine Douglass-Williams tells is not well known. Dennis Prager has had two perhaps three folk that might be part of the "modernizing Muslims" groups.

I believe there are many here who would welcome honest Muslims that can be trusted not to bring forth Sharia Law to impose upon us. Perhaps Douglass-Williams is a beginning. Trusting Islamics is a risky thing. If your purpose is to convince to listen, to investigate, I will bite. I will purchase her book.

Consider, please a rewrite the paragraph beginning with "The anti-Islamic Right. . ."
