Bannonism Under Trump

Reader comment on item: The Dubai Miracle Has Become Real

Dear Daniel Pipes,

You offer here an extremely informative and deep analysis, in part, of the "Mysterious" Arab Middle East, and much of the rest of Asia.

However, back home, under the Exceptional and Populist Donald Trump.
perhaps it like being too close to the Sun, which instead of Visibility one gets blindness.

My impression is that The Donald has been listening closely to Henry Kissinger and Steven Bannon,
and that his vision of America First is distorted by the Spins of the Liberal Media,
so we still do not fully see what he's been up to. But that's about to change with his recognition of Jerusalem as the Capitol of Israel.

Trump, I think, has tilled towards China, under Kissinger's advice no doubt,
irrespective of Obama's preoccupation with Freedom and Human Rights,
which are in the domain of Internal Policy (not subject to Foreign interference).
He may have persuade China patiently to solve the common problem of North Korea,
and diplomatically requires South Korea and Japan to pull their own weight with Money and the Military.

Regarding Israel, Trump through the "Corrupt" Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States, including Dubai,
is diplomatically and secretly or diplomatically raining in the Palestinians,
irrespective of what the rest of the Muslim world, or the European Union thinks,
to orchestrate his "Real Estate Deal of the Century."
In brief, I believe he is applying exactly the Tactics he practiced on "The Apprentice."
As the here infamous Karl Marx observed, more or less, if your a Billionaire,
you can Purchase and Expert to do the required task.
So Trump has filled, finally, his Staff at the White House with our Military's 3 former officers.
He intends, I believe, to do whatever it takes to make America Rich again as it was after WWII.
The Chinese, it is known, are heavily invested in our economy since we are their major market.
And the Russians are only a threat to Eastern Europe
while the European Union as been turning into Eurabia !
However, the likes of Geert Wilders are on the rise.
The Czech Republic and Hungary are considering recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's Capital.
Brexit is still unfolding, and Britain and the rest of the Anglophone world may come closer to the USA.
It has recently been revealed, thru former secret documents, that Canada's policy to Israel
decades ago, was affected by Arab economic interests.
All that is changing for 2 reason.
We have invented the efficient extraction of fuel from Shale,
and have effectively become Carbon exporters,
and Israels discovery of offshore gas reserves
has now contradicted Golda Meir's complaint
that Moses led his people to the only spot in the Middle East
that has[]sec] had no "oil."
But gas is better than oil for energy because it's cheaper.

So I observe that Trump and his commercial and industrial allies
may bring 3 or 4 Trillion Dollars from Off-Short to the Heartland
especially after his recent Tax reforming having past thru Congress.
Obama's Internationalism and Free Trade are coming to a close.
Neither Nato nor the European Union have the relevence they once had,
and the UN, the creation of the US under Roosevelt is corrupt
as exhibited by its prejudice against Israel.
And their is no real reason to vilify Russia under Putin
when it comes to the interests of the USA.
As Kissinger observes, the Ukraine was historically
in the Sphere of Influence of Russia from the beginning of the emergence of Russia as a state.
Russia sees the European Union and NATO as threats to it.
When Special Prosecute Mueller's investigation soon peters out or concludes,
after 3 or 6 million dollars have already been spent,
with the result of the admitted "liar" as a potential witness,
one should expect Trump to get close to Putin
for the sake of our National Interests.
For one, Putin has been arming the Kurds in Syria
while we were arming the Kurds in Syria and Iraq.
Israel, the USA, and Russia may see eye-to-eye on the Middle East.
Egypt, the most popular Arab country is heavily dependent on Saudi Arabia.
And Turkey under Erdogan dreams of Neo-Ottomanism and Islamist
which proves highly distasteful to the Rich Oil Arabs that count.
And Israel just signed agreements to provide gas by pipeline to Europe thru Cypress and Italy.

Trump may yet prove to be employing some Metternick or Bismark
Jared Kushner and Steven Bannon ?

What Trump calls "Fake New" may yet become correct;
Trump is neither a true Republican, or was he ever a True Democrat.
But he is a N
ew Yorker who just doesn't fit the establishment view of a President,
in spite of the fact that he got elected by the people of the Great United States of America !
And we do always do the right things - after exhausting all the other possibilities.

Getting close to Dubai, instead of the Palestinians, is in the horizon of Trump's vision, as I see it.
And that incorporates an Israeli Victory as well.

The situation is extremely complicated, and I've omitted much by space constraints.
