Your article on Austria -- additional Jihadi incidents in that countryReader comment on item: A Historic Step in Austria? Submitted by Mike Kucherov (Germany), Apr 6, 2018 at 04:15 Dear Mr. Pipes, Please don't forget about the devasting vehicular attack in the quaint Austrian town of Graz in June, 2015. The perpetrator was almost certainly a Jihadi, but was portrayed as a "mentally ill native" (he was a Bosnian refugee with an Austrian passport). Incredibly, this attack was not even widely reported in other parts of Europe -- even today, many people here in Germany are totally unware of it. Also, at the same time as the incident outside the Iranian embassy, there was a stabbing attack in downtown vienna -- an Afghan randomly knifed a couple emerging from a restaurant with their daughter. Sincerely, Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: Thank you for adding these attacks. Reader comments (20) on this item
