No small matterReader comment on item: A Historic Step in Austria? Submitted by Prashant, Apr 6, 2018 at 23:49 Dear Dr Pipes, In his note entitled "There Ain't No Good Islam", your reader William Piper correctly stated that Muslims are never a true citizens of any nations. Whenever they live as minorities in any nation their constant attention is toward somehow attaining majority in the nation or some part of it so they can establish an Islamic rule. And it is no small matter. To qualify as a religion, Islam must change itself and discard its political ambitions. Let em repeat. To qualify as a religion, Islam must change itself and discard its political ambitions. How can we achieve it? To start with every Islamic apologist, Muslim or otherwise, must be asked about separation of church and state in Islamic societies. And they should be reminded that question is not whether Islam can exist in a democratic society (it of course can). The question is whether a democratic society can thrive in Islamic societies.
