Young Arabs love Sia! However, they have no clue about what inspired her song: The Greatest!Reader comment on item: A Historic Step in Austria? Dr Pipes, I urge your readers to check this very interesting video and read the comments. It is an Arabic translation (I came across this video in youtube) of the Australian pop star Sia and the song is The Greatest. It seems that young Arabs adore Sia and love the lyrics of the song. BTW the lyrics are about stamina and to never give up and never surrender. Very universal and very powerful message! However, what is most ironic is that in the comments section no one seem to be aware that this song celebrates the lives of the 41 victims of the Muslim terrorist Omar Mateen at the Pulse Club in Orlando! And non of the comments deal with the fact that these victims were gays and lesbians BTW the Arabic translation of the song is very good.
