Wrong Interpretations of Which Rule of Law to ObserveReader comment on item: Israel Has Nothing to Fear from Trump's Plan? Submitted by M Tovey (United States), May 30, 2018 at 15:50 There are reasons why a simple comparison with Tommy Robinson is a stretch in American minds that draw legal differences from here and over the pond. This goes back to before the separation of America and Great Britain, back to the religious epics of the time and how the United Kingdom could never get the American 'colonies' back. England was not able to impose 'Church' rule in America: the Constitution's separation of Church and state was to keep away from the idea that one's religion could be used to rule over others who did not share the same beliefs; being one of the reasons that Catholicism and reverences of the Pope took so long to get established in America. Islam now challenges both, stemming from the times when the teaching of the Muslim prophet countered all other religious perceptions until this day. This begs the question: where does the Church of England enter into this situation; the appearance being that the Anglican community has lost their say as well. This observation begs to differ in not saying, we are all Tommy Robinson, for if the British legal system were being fully operational under the sovereignty of the Crown, then Tommy would not have been detained in the first place. In America, a different operation of the law would have been required to incarcerate a journalist and that is the difference here in America. Read the Constitution for the first time, again. Islam tried to insert itself into American politics, only to find out that certain precepts of law are still incompatible with shari'a styled jurisprudence; and therein lays the distinction between British and American legal systems. Eventually, as it is written in the Hebrew Holy Writ, this will be adjudicated and the Scriptures tell of a different time of judgment: but for the meantime, Islam will struggle until its futility is revealed and the world will look to Jerusalem for its government.
