But wait! There's MORE!Reader comment on item: Interview: U.S. Embassy Move May Bring Regrets Submitted by There is NO Santa Claus (United States), Jun 25, 2018 at 14:08 Not only does this call the Palestinian Arabs' bluff, it also exposes their extreme weakness. It is the United States that has taken action; not Israel. If the Palestinian Arabs are so angry about the U.S. embassy move, it would stand to reason that they would focus their violent attacks on the U.S. They don't because they know the world (minus Israel and for now, the United States) will allow them to attack Israel with impunity. The world will actually rationalize these attacks as "a logical reaction...." Yet even that attitude is starting to change. The Palestinian Arabs don't attack the U.S. because their aging and eroding leadership exists at the mercy of the United States. One violent attack and this Administration could put them out of business in very short order. The few viable nations left in the Arab League are growing tired of the Palestinian Arabs holding up economic and political progress. Not one single Arab League State broke off diplomatic relations with the United States over this move. With a reaction like that, Jerusalem can't possibly be that important to the Arabs. The move is done. Nobody really knows what's going to happen next. Sit back and watch the show.
