Israeli victoryReader comment on item: Interview: U.S. Embassy Move May Bring Regrets Submitted by Debanjan Banerjee (India), Jul 9, 2018 at 12:19 Dear Mr. Mcmahon Greetings from India. After reading all the commentary from Dr. Pipes and then judging the situation at the ground, I am not sure that Israel really is feeling that they are winning at this moment. I mean lets face it, Israel is the most powerful military machine in that region and she has been backed to the hilt by USA the only hyperpower that humankind has ever seen. They are facing a group of people who are having none of the military and political tools that Israel possess. Yet it is these people who are winning simply because they do not fear death. Now why they do not fear death ? Because they have nothing to lose in the process. On the other hand the Israelis and their American backers have got everything to lose since they have everything. This is the problem of imposing world's harshest sanctions on the Gazan people from an Israeli perspective. By harshly punishing the Gazan people, Israel has destroyed the Gazans' fear of death. You cannot make a people accept defeat if they have already lost the fear of death. What are your thoughts on this one ? Looking forward to your answer. Greetings from Debanjan. Submitting....
