A fourth point wrtReader comment on item: Europe's Civilizationist Parties Submitted by Prashant, Nov 14, 2018 at 00:09 Dear Dr Pipes, Your reader M.L.Lipson correctly stated that significant Islamic immigrant population in Europe is a problem for the non-Muslim cultures of Europe. Mr Lipson asked what could be the solutions to this problem. You suggested that stopping illegal immigration, deporting illegal immigrants, and absorbing legal immigrants are three needed steps. I agree with you but I will like to add a fourth point. I know that I repeat this point on your forum over and over again but I think it can never be repeated enough number of times. The fourth action that all freedom loving people need to do is to speak against Islamic hypocrisy at every place where it can be spoken against. If Muslims immigrants to our free nations get to enjoy democracy and separation of church and state in our midst, it only makes sense that they offer the same to us in return. I consider it my right that if I accidentally fall from a plane and land in Saudi Arabia or Iran (as Salman Rushdie's mythical hero fell into Britain from a plane), I must fall into a democracy with full equality and human rights. If offering such rights to minorities is against the Islamic doctrines, then, I humbly state that Islamic doctrine needs to be changed or discarded. Until this happens, I consider Islamic nations illegitimate political structures. The harm caused to humanity by Islamic non-democracies is not just a part of ancient history. It is a part of history we all are complicit in creating today: the brothers, sisters, daughters and sons of Yezidi people who were killed by ISIS just four years back are still alive and suffering. And they will continue to suffer until they live the last day of their lives. We owe it to them that this history is stopped from being created. We have to repeat this assertion until all Islamic theocracies cease to exist as theocracies and every inch of this planet is a safe place for non-Muslims and ex-Muslims.
