Our dear Mr Maszka and the bogus word "Islamophobia" and Henri Lammens!Reader comment on item: Do Moderate Muslims Exist? Submitted by dhimmi no more, May 12, 2019 at 09:42 Let me help you our dear Mr Maszka: Learn to refute claims, be it our claims or someone else's claims. Using words like Islamophobia in a scholarly work is silly. Islam is the only religion where you will find the God of such religion instructing his followers (Q8:60) to terrorize, yes terrorize non Muslims and you will find this vile verse on the flag of the terrorist group the Muslim Brotherhood. Millions of human beings were murdered in the name of Islam and the destruction of the great civilizations of late antiquity was appalling. I cannot think of any other religion where the God or Gods of that religion instructs his followers to loot the properties of others and that God demands that he gets 1/5 of the loot. Now back to the bogus word Islamophobia: My understanding is that it was invented in-order to smear Henri Lammens. However, Lammens' contribution to our understanding of the historicity of Muhammad's Sira is so important. He proved, and he has never been refuted, that there is nothing historical about the Sira (and for this matter al-Ahadith) and the value of the Sira is to explain this opaque revelation called the Qur'an. Sad enough in academia some "scholars" that cannot refute claims by others, they resort to inventing silly words the likes of Islamophobia Learn to refute and stop using silly words like Islamophobia Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
