Afghanistan do have a lot of resourcesReader comment on item: Do Moderate Muslims Exist? Submitted by Debanjan Banerjee (India), May 15, 2019 at 03:40 Dear Prashant, You are absolutely incorrect when you say that the US military is just wasting their resources for last 18 years in Afghanistan for nothing. 1. Afghanistan is the leading supplier of Opium to the West and to the rest of the world. Now it is the US military and the CIA that has been controlling this narcotics trade and that is why Afghanistan opium production has been the greatest in the history of mankind. This is the way the CIA reimburses itself the costs for running Afghanistan's efforts. 2. Do you know why Taliban was toppled in 2001 ? 9/11 or OBL was just an eyewash, it was the Taliban edict of ridding Afghanistan of all opium business. CIA and Pentagon toppled Taliban simply because they were the biggest obstacle to Afghanistan remaining a drug lords'paradise. 3. Do you know why the US has been in Afghanistan even though OBL died in 2011 ? It is simply to keep an eye on Iran, Russia and China and to continue Pentagon's war economy. In the 21-st century, the US economy is essentially a war economy, America cannot end her wars or else she will become oblivion. That is the reason that 75-year old man-child and buffoon Trump will continue to pour billions into Pentagon's war economy and that is why the US will never be out of Afghanistan. 4. When you talk about the superiority of the West vis a vis the Muslim world, you are not mentioning the real reason behind the success of the West. This is the use of most organized violence in the history of mankind. Henry Kissinger has pointed this out before. The Westernization of the Muslim world would be good if the Muslim world looks to learn from the West and use military organization to conquer USA, Canada and Australia. So yes I am all for the Westernization of the Muslim world provided it is done to ensure one day Muslims can colonize the USA, Canada and Australia. Would love to know your views. Submitting....
