Ask a muslim about islam?Reader comment on item: "A Corrective to the Pipes Worldview"? Submitted by Nazia Khan (United States), Aug 30, 2005 at 14:14 How can a muslim explain islam to any body when majority of them do not know what is in quran and how Mohammed , the role model of islam lived. Quran is without context or chronolgy. Most of the verses dont make any sense unless you know the whole story behind them through hadiths and prophet's biography. The original scriptures being in arabic and the translations not available until very recently, average muslim only knows what the biased islamists write or what the mullah tells.. Since Mohammed led a very violent life and quran promotes a very violent and hateful ideology, biased interpretations, misrepresentations and cover ups are rampant.
