Incredible how the Soviets resembled today's Islamists

There must be some genome that Islamists and Communists share. That would be the one that brooks no criticism and demands complete conformity and obeisance to some crackpot ideology. Nevermind that anyone with an IQ above 70 can see that life sucks thanks to the ideology. There is oppression, privation and international tension because just about everyone else on the planet hates and fears you, but all your problems have nothing to do with you and so the correct response is to increase oppression, be even more hysterical in denouncing traitors and enemies and bow ever lower to your god.

While it may be obvious to the average moron that your system is a bad joke, yet you can still count on the educated elites to see your point. They are the guys who spend their time reading books more than experiencing real life and who thus can grasp the wisdom of your crackpot ideology. For them, reality is just a fly in the ointment.

Feel flattered that you weren't invited back.
