Ramadan fasting can help one's immune system to fight the Wuhan coronavirus! Or so we are told by Egypt's House of Fatwas (religious edicts)

This can be rendered as: We (Dar al-Ifta' al-Masriyya) met with (members) of a medical council and it was unanimous that the coronavirus does not affect the fasting (Ramadan) and all agreed that fasting boosts the immune system in facing (fighting) this virus!

So boys and girls this must be true! Mashallah!

However, weather this time of the year is hot and daytime temperature can be in the upper 80's and low 90's and 12 hours of sun. We are also told by real physicians that we all have to stay well hydrated by drinking water primarily! So who is making things up here? Real doctors or some ignoramus from Dar al-Ifta' al-Masriyya?

When the poster at al-Dar was asked to provide the names of the members of this medical council, al-Dar went silent

But this is the best response to this nonsense and it is also a tweet

ايه التضليل ده؟ بلاش جهل .. الصوم يقوي المناعة ازاي؟ أصحاب العلم هيشخرلكم شخرة تهز مبنى دار الافتاء.. غيروا اسم دار الإفتاء المصرية ل"دار أبو الجهل المصري".

This can be rendered as: Why are misleading us? Stop this ignorance. Fasting improves your immune system How? Those that know the sciences (doctors) will snort a big one that will tremble the building of Dar al-Ifta'. Change the name of Dar al-Ifta' al-masriyya and make it Dar abu Jahl al masri (the house of the father of ignorance the Egyptian)

And no reply to this tweet from the genius who posted the first tweet! I wonder why!
