It seems that the imperialist Arabs tried to destroy the Menkaure pyramid and the Sphinx with no luckReader comment on item: I Attended a Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra Concert Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Jun 19, 2020 at 11:28 Dr Pipes, This is a follow up about the twitter insanity of the pyramids and the sphinx were built by slaves and must be destroyed. Well, as you shall see Muslims have tried before or so we are told. However, Muslims wanted them destroyed not because they were built by slaves but because they are idols! Same stupidity but different reason. I'm sure that you are aware that Muslim historians make things up. So in the case of the missing nose of the Sphinx of Giza, Egypt, we are told that French troops of Napoleon fired a cannonball destroying the nose of the Sphinx. However, this can be dismissed with ease because drawings of the Sphinx from 1737 (way before the arrival of Napoleon to Egypt) reveals that the nose was already gone. Enter the Muslim historian al-Maqrizi who tells us in the 15th century that a certain Sufi by the name of Sa'im al-Dahr destroyed the nose of the Sphinx because those "evil" Egyptian peasants were providing offerings to the Sphinx so the yearly Nile flood would not cause much damage. More disasters from this ridiculous story? The Sufi dude was executed after being accused of vandalism! That is what al-Maqrizi says which is obviously nonsense. So we really don't know who destroyed the nose of the Sphinx. As for the attempted destruction of the Menkaure pyramid by another genius Muslims, and he is al-Aziz the son of Salah al-Deen al-Ayubi, it failed but it left a big hole in one of the sides of the pyramid. The poor fellow al-Aziz tried for 7 months or so we are told to destroy the pyramid with no luck and then he ran out of money! Why did he want to destroy the pyramid? It was not because it was built by slaves but because it is an idol. The Islamic Historical Tradition is the biggest literary fraud in the history of human beings I urge readers to google the photos of the area of destruction of the Menkaure pyramid and the missing nose of the Sphinx Old civilizations the likes of Egypt are not unlike a Palimpsest! Fools can try to destroy it but there will be more layers left.
