The Pyramids of Giza were not built by slaves as Hollywood would like to tell us Part 2Reader comment on item: I Attended a Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra Concert Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Jun 21, 2020 at 06:43 Dr Pipes, The study of modern archaeology of Egypt in general and of Giza in particular has changed our understanding of who really built the pyramids. I urge readers to read this article about who really built the pyramids and it was not built by slaves. It was built by skilled laborers and not by slaves.. This must be disappointing to those members of the regressive left that want to destroy human history and heritage. And more evidence that Egypt is not unlike a palimpsest. Even the superficial layer is destroyed there is still so much history underneath Check this article from Harvard Magazine https://www.harvardmagazine.com/2003/07/who-built-the-pyramids-htm It also makes me wonder, would members of the regressive left demand that Hollywood's movies that tells us that the pyramids were built by slaves be cancelled? I doubt it very much Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
