Call for Victory Isn't a Policy Statement; Neither Does It Inform Us as to Strategy or Tactics.Reader comment on item: Explaining Israel's Timid Security Establishment Submitted by Robert (United States), Jun 29, 2020 at 10:28 Dear Daniel Pipes, I have often complained to you about your urging Jews and Israel to go for Victory. 1) Since the number of Jew displaced from Muslim Countries roughly equals the number of Palestinian (so-called) Refugees, demand that Palestinians be Re-Settled in those Muslim places forcibly or political evacuated by Jews. 2) Europe (with it's history of Anti-Semitism) made it possible for Hitler to exterminate 6,000,000 Jews. 3) Syria, by it's historic arguments is the true State of the Palestinian People (you know this claim extremely well). According, with the death of so many Syrians in its Civil War, there are Vacancies in Syria for Palestinians who, according to official Syrian History are "really" citizens of Greater Syria, 4) You are not favorable to the concept that JORDAN IS PALESTINE. Yet you want Victory? I have never found you giving any convincing argument against adopting as a matter of Policy (for Victory) the position that there already is a Palestinian State - the State which the British carved out of the Madate of Palestine and it became Transjordan. This only deals with some of the hypocritical countries of the world whose Anti-Israel so-called Occupation of Palestine is merely a cover for Anti-Semitism, which itself is a for of Racism against Jews - denying Jews their own right to Self-Determination, Nationalism in the for of Zionism. There is much more I can say for how Victory can be achieved. But it's better to keep it brief on have you focus on my means of solving the Palestinian "Refugee" problem, which also solves the Sovereignty problem - Palestinians have many States to immigrate to as natural Arab Muslim citizens. But Jews can only move to (ancient) Israel and become Israelis if they want as Citizens with their own ethnic identity. Implicit here, obviously, is the twisted notion by anti-Semites that when it comes to Israel being Jewish mean that Jews are Racist because "being Jewish" involves merely a Religion, so that Zionism is Racism. And that also, Israel is an Apartheid State (like South-Africa was). PS: One final point. If your notion of Victory for Israel has any implication, these are that Israel has to "fight" almost the whole world because after Israelis many military battles since Independence in 1948, the is (1) Gaza, (2) the West Bank, (3) Refugees. Maybe Israel should simply recognize Hamas in Gaza? Imagine the consequences if the PLO simply collapse - and only Hamas exists? What will the rest of the world do?
