This is being written during the observance of Tisha B'av, which in Israel is happening in a time of duress. The COVID pandemic has Israel operating in an alternative environment in which the typical practices of remembering the history of the causes of Israel's mourning are, in and of themselves, frustratingly curtailed, a pressure of the soul reminiscent of the tragedies the Jewish people have suffered. In some respects, remembering the insults and injuries endured by the Jewish people are painful enough by having to really remember; but the constant reminders of an unfeeling world makes all that more unbearable. In that vein, tendencies to timidity can be almost forgivable; almost.

In the more apropos set of circumstances, defense of the land of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is a matter of history as well. The asserted fulfillment of the appropriate portion of the Hebrew Holy Writ are a tell; that messing with the Chosen people of the Eternal Sovereign is a mistake of Biblical proportions.

For the people of the world, watch how the people of Israel are being brought to a place of redemption; and take note. If the people of Israel are in the wood shed of chastisement by the Entity that claims them as his own; what of a world that picks on His Children, what punishment is due them. Tisha B'av is a time of remembrance, of justice for the Jewish people; but it is a warning for the rest of the world that rejects their Heavenly Father.
