Six Months Later and al-Sissi of Egypt Challenges Erdoǧan

Reader comment on item: The Death of Soleimani and Its Consequences

Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Jul 22, 2020 at 14:18

As if the Middle East is not already convoluted enough and trying to keep ahead of the calamities that await around every island of the Mediterranean, the sphere of influence that Turkey is trying to impose to block Israel from commerce in the Med is under threat in and of itself. It sets up a enhanced perspective of the Ezekiel scenario.
Unresolved ambition knows no limits and execution of ambitious intents knows no care of its victims. The set up of the Middle East's disastrous predicament just got more involved.
