I expect the Turks to fight, but not the Greeks.Reader comment on item: Will Turkey and Greece Clash over a Tiny Island? Submitted by Michael S (United States), Sep 18, 2020 at 02:47 "Will Turkey and Greece Clash over a Tiny Island?" Answer this: "Will China and the US clash over Taiwan?" While Donald J. Trump is US President, the answer is "Maybe". To be specific, "President Donald Trump said on Sunday that China "knows what I'm going to do" if the Communist country tries to invade Taiwan." That means "Maybe". I expect Chairman Xi to find out what "maybe" means, in near future. By comparison, President Trump hasn't gone so far as to say "maybe" to Mr. Erdogan, and the latter is almost certain to test him. Without US backing, I don't expect the Greeks to fight either.

Not even vaguely similar. Reader comments (11) on this item
