Bennett for meReader comment on item: Bibi for Prime Minister? No, For President Submitted by Anne Julienne (Australia), Dec 29, 2020 at 17:47 I loved and admired Bibi greatly until about a year ago. Since then, so many things have gone wrong in my eyes. I hated the whole Trump Peace Plan fiasco, the insincere promise of applying sovereignty, even the normalisation rollout (for it seems to give the Sunni Arabs final veto power on the issue of sovereignty). For most of the last year, I have hoped to see Bennett succeed to reach the PM position. How he will get there, though, is hard to say. However, if his treatment at the hands of Bibi is any indication, he is the man that Bibi has been most fearful and resentful of, the one he surely knows is his greatest rival. Bibi sank to his lowest point in this regard when he cut short Bennett's security support. As a past Defence Minister, this put not only Bennett's life at risk but the security of the whole nation. It was a despicable, an unforgivable act. Bennett is very wealthy and can pay for his own security, that much is a blessing, but the matter should not have turned on this.
