I think that faith in Islam is not merely a faith in God; it is the faith in Islam. Islam provides the thrill of claiming superiority over all others, the convenience of ruling everyone without any guilt, and the ease of doing a lot of bad in the name of religion. No other religion provides these freebies. It is hard for anyone to give them up. (Anyone who doubts my assertion, should consider that by making Islamic nations all over and demanding democracy everywhere, only Islam gives you the right to shamelessly eat your cake and have it as well. Why would anyone give up this convenience?).
