I also doubt that Muslims are converting out of IslamReader comment on item: The Perilous Path from Muslim to Christian Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jul 21, 2021 at 09:36 Dear Dr Pipes, your reader David expressed his doubt about the report that Muslims are leaving Islam. I think that faith in Islam is not merely a faith in God; it is the faith in Islam. Islam provides the thrill of claiming superiority over all others, the convenience of ruling everyone without any guilt, and the ease of doing a lot of bad in the name of religion. No other religion provides these freebies. It is hard for anyone to give them up. (Anyone who doubts my assertion, should consider that by making Islamic nations all over and demanding democracy everywhere, only Islam gives you the right to shamelessly eat your cake and have it as well. Why would anyone give up this convenience?). Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
