US is lucky in its neighbors but still needs border control

The US is fortunate that most of our immigration comes from Mexico and Asia and consists of people amenable to assimilation. And we are doubly fortunate that the recent changes in welfare laws discourage the formation of multigeneration welfare communities.

Then again the US is even more fortunate because we will benefit from observation of the horrors which will occur in Europe once the politically correct multiculti governments there have allowed enough Muslim influx to trigger a violent reaction.

I don't know who is more obtuse, the European elites who are preaching sweetness and light and encouraging the immigration of unassimilable minorities, or the immigrants who think that the vast majority of Europeans have somehow outgrown and completely shed the tribal habits of a couple of thousand years of history.

We already see the first glimmerings of reaction as Europe (wisely) pulls back from the madness of throwing open the border with Turkey.
