Islam pitched a perfect game last week by committing atrocities against every religion this side of the Heaven's Gate cult – and not for the first time either, as we've noted in the past.

First to Thailand, where Muslim radicals broke into a Buddhist temple in the early morning hours and hacked a 76-year-old monk to pieces. Two temple boys, ages 15 and 17, were also found hiding in their beds. After these courageous Jihadis shot the boys to death, they burned their bodies along with the temple.

On to India now where the Mujahideen certainly didn't let the recent earthquake slow them down. They invaded the homes of three Hindu families in a single night, ate their food in front of them, and then slit the throat of each member one-by-one.

In Orthodox Russia, 150 holy warriors of Islam invaded the town of Nalchik in a coordinated attack. The residents were terrorized for nearly two days as security forces fought to prevent another Beslan massacre. In the end about four dozen innocents were killed.

In Israel, where the Knesset recently handed Gaza over to the Palestinians, appeasement was repaid in the usual fashion with the cold-blooded murder of three young Jews hitchhiking by the side of the road. The youngest was 14. The terror arm of the Palestinian Prime Minister's own political party took the credit.

Oddly enough, TROP occasionally hears from e-mailers who earnestly argue that none of this has anything to do with Islam, since Muslims routinely kill thousands of their own each year in sectarian attacks and honor killings!

The rest of us recognize that there is something different and obviously disturbing about Islam. It not only prompts some to violence, but causes a great many others to privately condone it.

Through the Qur'an, Muhammad encourages his followers to make war against non-believers until they either accept Islam or submit to subjugation. Why pretend that the terror has nothing to do with this… particularly when the terrorists themselves tell us that it does?
