Debanjan Banerjee forgot to mention a few important things about islamic immigrationReader comment on item: [Ex-Muslims:] The Challenge to Islam It Has Never Faced Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jan 12, 2022 at 10:33 Dear Dr Pipes, Mr Debanjan Banerjee is in the habit of mentioning half truths to serve his purpose. While he blames Western involvement for increased Muslim immigration to the West, he forgot to mention a few things: 1. Immigration of Muslims is happening even from those Muslim countries where there has been no recent war. Tunisia and Morocco are examples. 2. Why do we use West and Islamic as opposites? Islam ought to be a religion while West is not a religion. Non-muslim emigration from Muslim countries is not due to wars but to persecution by Islam/Muslims. 3. Even in the Islamic countries where there were wars, Muslim's inability to change rulers without war is a major cause of trouble. Western influence is less of a cause. Islamic incompetence is a bigger cause. Islamic incompetence may even be the cause behind Western interference (hint: think democracy) 4. Islamic population growth rate and lack of freedom of thought is the reason why people run away from Muslim nations. War is just one of the many causes. Muslim refugees should realize that Islam is the cause of trouble.(hint: think education and, in particular, girls' education) 5. Immigration is just the start. Islamic self-segragation in every country where Muslims live is a bigger problem. Hope Mr Banerjee and other apologists buy and start wearing some thinking caps.
