Linking Issues That Are Not Linked

Engagement does not mean immigration, if the US did not keep bugging out when Democrats get elected to President or Congress. I'd like to see more missionaries to majority Islamic countries and troops if necessary to keep them safe. (Non-Muslim proselytizing is called "making mischief in the land" that Sharia punishes by death. 2:6-15, 4:89) And then I'd like the converts to stay there and make more converts, if it takes centuries. I would also support "encouraging" Muslim (and Democrat) emigration from the West.
