Everyone was a victim of the Western powersReader comment on item: Middle East Geopolitics Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jan 16, 2022 at 13:41 Dear Dr Pipes, No matter how much evidence is provided to him, Debanjan Banerjee will not change or give up. Banerjee wants to end the Western Empire so immigration of Muslims to the West stops (go figure!) The British empire ruled almost the entire World during parts of 18th,19th, and 20th centuries. If we add to this list the countries ruled by the other European colonialists, we will not be able to find an inch of land on this planet that was not colonized by European at some time or the other. But... But no one else pretends to be a victim except Muslims. No one else feigns perpetual victimhood and demands more and more except Muslims. And, most importantly, no one else creates free-for-all militias to kill innocent people except Muslims. And, let us not forget the colonialism perpetrated by Muslims in this world for nearly a thousand years before the Western colonialism. In Europe, Asia, and Africa there was hardly any reachable land that Islamic looters did not attack and plunder. So the only solution is NOT to give up the Western empire as so selfishly suggested by Mr Banerjee. The Western empire is already losing its economic and military clout. The only solution is for Muslims to try hard to stand on their two feet, study mathematics, and the sciences and take some tough STEM classes. If they are prosperous where they live, they won't have to occupy other lands one way or the other.
