How about a study on the left right switch on IsraelReader comment on item: Israel's Moment Submitted by Dave (United States), Jun 2, 2022 at 21:45 I get the nostalgia that many have for the good old days when the Left was at the forefront of the fight against fascism and championed Zionism. But times have changed. Now the Right is much chummier with Israel. I've always suspected that is was because Zionism is a form of nationalism, something the Left hates and the Right is sympathetic to. The Left only loved Jews when they were universalists and socialists, not capitalists and generals. Nevertheless, instead of moralizing and mooning over the past, how about some insight into why things changed and what it would mean for the future.
