After Meeting with America's 46th Administrative Chief Executive; Does Lapid Still Think Leverage Against Iranian Islamic Regime Exists?

What did Israel sign on to? The photograph of the 46th American Administratve Chief Executive and Lapid did nothing to give this Western observer any sense or level of comfort that Israel is any closer to protecting itself from the Iranian Islamic Regime's intentions of implementing whatever finalized plan to diminish, then eliminate Israel from the Middle East theater in spite of contravening actions on the part of the 'Palestinian' Authority's objections and action to thwart Israel's means of defense and implementing proxy actions to the north as well.
Does Israel really believe the United States will be able to act on preventing that which it does not have the ability to control, neither guarantee? Doubtful........considering America cannot defend against its internal enemies.
